Palma Interface, a new social enterprise in Tamil Nadu, India

A change project idea that was initiated during the Pepal programme at INSEAD has now taken shape in the form of an organisation called Palma Interface, which is a registered social enterprise with an office in Chennai, India. 

The mission of Palma Interface is to catalyse cross partnership learning to improve business development and to promote sustained social gain. Currently three prototype products are being developed and field-tested, which will be offered to companies. As a next step, Palma Interface is looking for corporate volunteers who will spend some time with the organisation to help with the field-testing of the prototypes, development of marketing strategies and business planning.

Palma Interface draws upon experience PWDS has gained working with leading banking and financial sector institutions such as HDFC and Bharatia Axia, to co-create products that benefit the poor in Tamil Nadu.
