Andrena Cumella is working with Pepal on the International Leadership Challenge in Uganda.

Andrena is a highly qualified facilitator and coach with extensive experience designing and delivering leadership programmes across organisations in the public and private sectors, membership, arts and voluntary organisations. She brings over twenty years experience as a consultant nationally and internationally to the Pepal Leadership Challenge Series. During the earlier part of her career, she served as a Chief Executive, senior manager and college lecturer.
Andrena offers an innovative, client-centred approach to leadership and development. She has gained a reputation for vigor, creativity and insight in her work. She works regularly on major change initiatives, with a particular emphasis on culture change leading to new partnerships and ways of working. She works with participants to create a supportive environment that encourages new ways of thinking and behaving as a leader. Andrena is noted for her ability to create an environment that respects and responds to differences in need and learning preferences. Outside her professional work, she is a trustee of Youth Music Theatre UK, a volunteer for Trinity Hospice and a former member of the International Scholarship Committee, Canadian Women’s Club. She also served as a volunteer aide worker working with children and families in Sri Lanka following the Tsunami. She holds a Masters Degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and additional qualifications as a certified coach and administrator of psychometric tools.
